You will never be lonely again if you have the SHALOM team as friends

Our hearts swell with joy again, seeing the bright smile of an elderly person who usually stays at home every day, with a sad and dull expression, only showing a faint smile. Usually when our team visits, we see this. But one Saturday, I took this elderly person out for a trip. It was evident how happy she was once again, as she told me with a smile, "Thank you very much for taking me out of the house. I got to see old friends, buy things I wanted, and most importantly, I am no longer lonely."

Aunt S is one of the elderly people in the Shalom project, along with many others in the area. Every time the team visits Aunt S, she is found alone at home, looking lonely and without anyone to talk to. The Shalom team visits her regularly to conduct basic health check-ups, read the Bible together, pray, offer encouragement, and invite her to join activities with other elderly people at the Shalom office several times a month. These activities include sharing experiences, exercising, doing crafts, and learning more about elderly self-care, along with sharing meals together.

We would like to thank all the sponsors who have provided financial support, prayers and activity ideas to help us help the elderly no longer feel lonely.
