“Muddy Roads, Willing Hearts”

The rainy season is now in full swing, especially here in Sangkhlaburi. It has been raining so heavily that some days it rains all day without showing any sign of stopping. Sometimes, it even rains for several days in a row—almost as if the sky has forgotten what sunshine looks like!
For most people, rainy days mean getting ready with an umbrella and a raincoat. But for our team, whenever it’s time to visit our patients, there is one more thing we can’t live without: rain boots!
Many of the roads in the villages are red dirt roads. When the rain comes down heavily, they quickly turn into muddy roads. Some places become very slippery, messy, and difficult to walk on. Many of the patients we care for live in these areas, so every time we go to visit them.
Rain boots may make our feet feel a little heavier, but they help us travel more safely and allow us to continue visiting and caring for our patients—even when the rain is heavy, the roads are muddy, and the journey is not easy.

So, we decided to take the team members who didn’t have rain boots yet to the local market to choose a pair, so everyone would be ready for patient visits during the rainy season.
Rain boots may make our feet feel a little heavier, but they help us travel more safely and allow us to continue visiting and caring for our patients—even when the rain is heavy, the roads are muddy, and the journey is not easy.
Because sometimes, caring for others begins with taking care of ourselves and staying safe first.

This rainy season… our team is ready!.
