Welcoming the Children Back
Updated: May 20
Our children have been on summer break since mid-March and are going to be heading back to school this week and next week. I took off a month or so to go to the US and visit my family, then spent a week cleaning and re-organizing the classroom. So, the students are slowly returning back to classes with PEACE last week and the next two weeks.

I’m looking forward to seeing them all again and meeting the new students who will join our project this year. Please pray for us as we begin classes again, for wisdom in teaching and connections with the children that they will be open to hearing God’s word and His love for them spoken into their lives this year. Pray for the ones who have stopped attending, that they will remember what they learned and the love they felt while they were studying with us.
Last week on Friday for our weekly Friday Funday lesson I was happily surprised when 14 children showed up to learn about Abram and Sarai. That is a good number for during the school year and this was still during summer break. I always make 20 copies of the activity. Praying that so many children will come during our classes I’ll run out of copies and need to make more during this school year. What a blessing that would be!
