Pray for the children in the PEACE Project

PEACE has been hopping now that the Thai children are halfway through the first semester. In August we had another 5 children apply to study with us. We try to keep capacity to 3-4 students per group however, most groups are bursting with 6-7 students if they all attend. Praise God that we have the chance to speak into so many young children’s lives. 47 different children attended classes throughout the month of August.

Friday Funday has also been a blessing as we teach Bible stories each week. Around 20 children attend each week to sing and dance in worship, hear a Bible story, do a craft and have a snack. Most of the stories the children have never heard of before, and occasionally it’s a review for a few of them. Planting seeds in each students life that attends each week is one of our greatest blessings.

Please continue to pray for our children as they learn English, but more importantly as they learn about God and His love for them. Pray for patience in teaching, for parents to have time to bring them to class, as well as healing for those who are sick. Several have been in and out sick since school started. One with an eye infection that had her in the hospital for several weeks. Pray for continued health and healing for her and the others who are sick.
