God’s Timing!

Christmas is a joyful season that always seems to pass too quickly! This year, the Shalom team organized celebrations for three groups: the elderly, people with limited abilities, and a community unfamiliar with Jesus. At each event, we saw smiles, heard laughter, and felt deep joy. Even the tears at the end were filled with happiness and love.

The last group was special. We had been helping this community for some time—providing health care, building shelters, and delivering food and supplies. But they didn’t know about God. One day, we asked the children, “Do you know God?” They said no. “Do you know Jesus?” Again, no. But when we asked about Christmas, they smiled and said, “It’s the day Santa brings presents!”

Hearing this, I quietly prayed,

“Lord, let us host a Christmas event for them so they can know You more.”

This year, God answered. On the day of the event, Dr. Jen shared that he had prayed for this moment since 2020, during the pandemic. God’s timing was perfect. With help from teams in Singapore and the evangelist in border area, the event overflowed with blessings.

It was a Christmas filled with joy and the love of God, bringing light to a community that hadn’t known Him before.
