The festival everyone had been eagerly anticipating has passed, but the fun and smiles remain in the hearts of the children and everyone involved. That festival, of course, was Christmas.
On December 10th, we had the opportunity about a Christmas celebration for our children and some children from the village. During this event, we aimed to help them understand the true meaning of Christmas: the birth of Jesus Christ. Through storytelling and explaining the meaning behind the five Christmas colors, we conveyed how deeply God loves them.
The meanings of the five Christmas colors:
• Green symbolizes eternal life.
• Red represents love and the sacrifice of Jesus.
• White signifies purity and the light that God has given to humanity.
• Blue stands for peace or tranquility found in Jesus.
• Gold signifies Jesus coming to earthas the King.
This past Christmas, the children were able to grasp the meaning behind each color, making this year’s celebration particularly special. Now, whenever they see these five colors adorning schools, churches, or homes, they can recall their true significance.
The children expressed their gratitude to Jesus for coming into this world for all of us. His love is extraordinary because He loves every child unconditionally, regardless of their appearance. His love for each of them knows no bounds.
