Another aspect of life

Life along the border is never easy. This family was forced to leave their homeland and now struggles each day without the rights and opportunities they deserve. With no land of their own, they built a small hut on borrowed ground. The father and mother search for vegetables in the forest along the river to sell, yet the income is never enough to feed their three little children.

When our SHALOM team visited, we saw a family of five—thin, fragile, yet still holding on with hope. As soon as we arrived, the children came running with smiles, recognizing us as friends who bring food, medicine, and care. The mother quietly asked if we had come to give her the contraceptive injection, something we provide every three months to ease her burden. In her eyes, we saw both hope and desperation—a silent cry for help.

💛 These families remind us that love is not only in words, but in action. Together, we can make a difference by giving, by caring, and by standing with them.
🙏 Please join us in prayer for the poor, the displaced, and those fleeing from war—that they may receive timely help, strength, and hope for a brighter tomorrow.
